The Derksen Side Lofted Barn Shed in Texas is built for people who need serious storage without sacrificing easy access. It comes designed with lofts at each end to maximize overhead space, plus standard windows for light and ventilation. On 8′ wide models you get a single shop-built door, and on 10′+ wide models you get double doors for moving larger items in and out more easily.

Features of Side Lofted Barn Sheds

Two lofts: one at each end, with loft depth varying based on building size.
8′ wide buildings include a 48″ wide shop door.
10′ and wider buildings feature a double 72″ wide shop door for larger access.
6’6″ wall height (75″ studs), with an optional wall height upgrade available.
All treated lumber comes with a Lifetime warranty against fungal rot and decay.
10′ and wider buildings have 2×6 floor joists, while 8′ wide and horizontal metal buildings include 2×4 floor joists.
8′ and 10′ wide buildings are built on two pressure-treated, notched skids, while 12′ and wider buildings rest on four skids for enhanced stability.
16″ on-center wall studs with double top plates for increased structural strength.
