Each kennel includes interior 4′ x 4′ insulated dog suites with entry/exit dog doors for easy movement. For light and airflow, there are two 2′ x 3′ windows, plus a 36″ shop door with transom windows for everyday access and added natural light.
Kennels include exterior dog runs with chain-link fencing and an exit gate. The run sizes vary based on the building size, and the number of interior dog suites also depends on the overall kennel size.
For strength, 10′ and wider buildings use 2×6 floor joists, while 8′ wide buildings use 2×4 floor joists. The base is built on pressure-treated, notched skids: 8′ and 10′ wide buildings use two skids, and 12′ and wider buildings use four skids. Exterior walk areas feature composite decking for durability and easy maintenance.
